1. Arise, shine, for thy light is come! 

And the glory of the Lord is risen up   on thee. For behold, darkness shall cover the earth, 

And great darkness the people;

2.  But the Lord shall a  rise upon thee, 

And His glory shall be seen up  on thee. 

And the nations shall come to thy light, 

And kings to the bright  ness of thy rising.

3. Lift up thine eyes round a  bout, and see: 

All they gather themselves to gether, they come to thee; 

Thy sons shall come from far, 

And thy daughters shall be nursed at thy side.

4.  Then shalt thou see and flow together, 

And thine heart shall fear and be enlarged; 

Because the multitude of the sea shall be converted unto thee, 

The wealth of the nations shall come unto thee.
