1.  My soul cleaveth unto the dust;

Quicken Thou me according to Thy Word.

I have declared my ways, and Thou hast answered me;

O teach me Thy statutes.

2. Make me to understand the way of Thy commandments,

And I will talk of Thy wondrous works.

My soul melteth for heaviness;

Lift Thou me up according to Thy Word.

3. Remove from me the way of lying,

And graciously grant me Thy   law.

I have chosen the way of truth;

Thy judgments have I laid before me.

4. I cleave unto Thy testimonies;

O Lord, put me not to shame.

I will run the way of Thy commandments,

For Thou shalt enlarge my heart.
